Make to Play Constructing STEM Puppets with and for Cultural Differences

The Prototyping Puppets project combined craft and performance in a STEM-based workshop model. Here, we report on how different instances of these workshops reflected cultural adaption. We argue that the design of the project to inherently build on technology as well as performance provided the necessary condition for differently layered adjustments and that it is thanks to the equal role of both domains that cultural customization succeed in technological STEM communication as well as artistic expression.
